Program Description
This Multi-Arts Program focuses first on individual self-expression, and then moves into how to communicate responsively in small groups. Then the sessions introduce comfortable ways to move from conversation and improvisation on into Public Speaking and more formal presentations. Sessions include a wide range of theatre games, delivery techniques, movement, art. and visualization that encourage skill-building in diverse ways. Coaching from professional artists, teachers, community arts presenters, writers, and librarian, blend with peer-to-peer learning to shape stories and shows. The purpose of th program is to build ways to share personal and public stories in an inclusive compassionate way. (also useful for Graduations, National History Day, Science Research Projects, and Poetry Out Loud Contests, and Civics prep
