Program Description
4. FANTASTIC FORCES In the Fantastic Forces show students explore gravity and the physical laws that can be used to defy gravity. Those physical laws and forces are: gravity, the center of gravity, balance, counter balance, centripetal and centrifugal force, air pressure, vaccuums, sound waves and vibrations. Students learn how to balance a long peacock feather on their hand. They will hear the magical vibrations of the Tibetan singing bowl and the Australian bull roar. Students learn how to do three magic tricks by applying the principals of air pressure and vaccuums. The show concludes with a madcap plate spinning routine that helps students remember the importance of ….The Center of Gravity. NY Science Learning Standards: PS3.C, PS2.A, PS4.A
