Program Description
Inclusive Sports and Fitness (ISF) offers field trip opportunities for Special Education classes to our centrally located Holbrook facility. Students learn the importance and fun of physical activity while unleashing their athletic potential. Exergaming and technology are combined with skilled therapeutic interventions to promote physical and social activities. Specialized equipment enables students of all abilities to push their limits and exceed all expectations in a fun and safe environment. Even those typically unengaged students find themselves interacting with the group and participating in the unique activities. ISF is a fitness facility staffed by Occupational Therapists. The ISF organization is home to scientific research on children with different abilities. Our multidisciplined research team combines expertise across various fields to determine the ideal setting in which to not only motivate, but to improve cognitive and gross/fine motor skills.
