Program Description
FIELD TRIP to Theatre Three Theatre Three presents the Long Island premiere of Every Brilliant Thing, written by Duncan MacMillan, with Jonny Donahoe. You’re seven years old. Your mother is in the hospital. You begin a list of everything that is truly wonderful about the world—everything worth living for. You leave it on her pillow. You know she’s read it because she corrected your spelling. Soon, the list takes on a life of its own. With audience members recruited to take on supporting roles, Every Brilliant Thing is a heart-wrenching, hilarious story of depression, suicide, and the lengths we will go for those we love. Presented with unflinching honesty, the play balances life’s struggles while celebrating all that is “truly brilliant” in living each day. “The list (and show) will change the way you see the world. Don’t miss this one.” Heidi Sutton, TBR Media Presented on Theatre Three’s Second Stage, audience is limited to 70. You choose a date. Fifty percent of the proceeds benefit Response Crisis Center. *Please Note: Due to reserved seating arrangements no changes can be made to the attendance numbers within 6 weeks prior to the show date. If additional tickets are requested, the Theatre will make every attempt to accommodate. Tickets are non-refundable.
