Program Description
This program focuses on teaching beginning harpists basic technique and exploring harp repertoire. Students will learn the foundations of playing the harp through weekly lessons, using progrssive studies to culminate in solo and ensemble performances throughout the year. This includes teaching essential skills, managing performances, maintenance of harps and supervision of students. Through this experience students will gain a better understanding of the harps role in music in various cultures and participate in a harp choir.
