Program Description
Hands-on workshop for students to learn basic theory and practice of magic. Professional magician Robert McEntee, teaches sleight of hand using common household objects (cards, coins, etc.) and an introduction to acting to create illusion. Ideal for improving hand-eye coordination and analytical skills. Resources for further study introduced. Brief history of magic and relation to culture discussed. Students learn several tricks or adorable balloon animals with which to amaze friends and family! Value of hobbies and alternate career choices also discussed. It is customized for the the children's age group. The magic workshop also works particularly well online, if you're having virtual or online programs when school is closed.
