Program Description
Students will roll different polyhedral dice, while taking on career scenarios at Brookhaven Lab, to explore concepts such as mean and standard deviation. After performing manual calculations, they’ll take the next step into coding by using Python to automate their analysis. Students will compare their results and see how computational tools make data science faster, easier, and more powerful. **AGREEMENT TO TERMS needs to be signed by an authorized District representative and on file to process any Contract requests submitted to AIE. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS, REQUESTS WILL BE CANCELLED WITHOUT AGREEMENT TO TERMS ON FILE WITH AIE. **The Technical Services Agreement needs to be made available to teachers who participate in BNL programs.
