Describe the way(s) this program impacts your students learning and how this arts experience correlates with your curriculum:

The presentation summarized the changes to the New York State Art Standards and how the teachers need to write them and incorporate them into their lessons and the curriculum.

Suggestions to artists for improvements:

My suggestion would be to not read from every page. Rather shorten the amount of slides and talk about the changes and how to implement them. Provide the appropriate charts (MA or FA) and have the teachers spend more time reflecting on their own lessons and then perhaps write a group lesson together. The biggest change for us is in how to write the standards. Also a suggestion would be to give the coordinator of the workshop the option to print out all the material ahead of time.
