As an Educator, I enjoy exposing my students to the NYSSMA Majors Festival as it prepares them to be attentive, responsive, and disciplined. It gives my students a wonderful opportunity to perform under pressure, meet high expectations, and get another professional perspective on what their strengths and weaknesses as an ensemble.

I think its always important that if an orchestra is being evaluated that at least one judge is also a string Teacher.
