Describe the way(s) this program impacts your students learning and how this arts experience correlates with your curriculum: |
We have used this program as a "kick off" for our Social Studies unit on the Northeast Native Americans for many years. The presenters are knowledgeable and engaging. They do an outstanding job building the foundation for our unit and we refer back to the program throughout the remainder of the school year. The program offers many activities and visuals and even allows the students to view and touch real animal furs and artifacts.
