Describe the way(s) this program impacts your students learning and how this arts experience correlates with your curriculum:
Edna really engaged the students throughout the yoga class (40 min.) She had such passion and enthusiasm that really brought the kids into a method of physical activity that they were not very familiar with. It was nice to introduce students to another way to live a healthy, active lifestyle.

Larger visuals for the students (if they are used)

I did not feel like Edna was preaching yoga or spirituality like I have seen other instructors do in the past at conferences (which in the past have given me negative feelings). She connected with students K-5 as if she has been teaching them for a long time. The students were engaged throughout the whole session and have been using some poses and techniques not only as review in the gym but on their own as well. The breathing techniques Edna shared have been used by classroom teachers and overall the classroom teachers and parents shared that the students loved sharing about their P.E. time with her and continue to use her techniques. A+.
