Describe the way(s) this program impacts your students learning and how this arts experience correlates with your curriculum: |
This program is aligned with our study of Northeast Woodland Indians. It gives the students a visual of many artifacts and an opportunity to interact in games and dances with their peers. There is also sharing of stories which correlates with our literacy unit on legends. They also create a clay pot as the Indian children would have done.
