Describe the way(s) this program impacts your students learning and how this arts experience correlates with your curriculum:
Students are given a tour of Manhattan and all of its historical landmarks. We study immigration and the children get to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island as an extension of their curriculum. This trip enhances socialization and allows the students to enjoy the experience in a safe and contained environment.
Suggestions to artists for improvements:
The trip is well organized and presented in a manner where the children can really enjoy the sights and sounds of NYC.
