The program was about black history through jazz. The children had the opportunity to hear the music they were learning about as well as play along with the band. Not only were a few students chosen from the audience to play a few instruments, but at the end of the program, the entire 5th grade band was asked to play along...it was fabulous, engaging and entertaining. A wonderful program that literally had the children, and teachers, dancing in the aisles!
