Students are able to experience a world-renowned museum, which many students have never seen before. The cultural aspect alone makes a huge impact on them. In addition, the study of art history and contemporary art helps students understand the role of art in society, and how they and their artwork fit into the bigger picture. The MoMA provides the opportunity to see more unique art made of unexpected materials, as well as more traditional materials. This is great artistic exposure for the students.
