Describe the way(s) this program impacts your students learning and how this arts experience correlates with your curriculum:

The hands-on activities were very beneficial in helping the students understand what it was like to make a journey like this during that time. We study US history in class, and the Westward Expansion is part of that.

Suggestions to artists for improvements:

No suggestions. The program was run very smoothly.

Additional comments:

The program was great. We will definitely be coming back next year. Presenters were very knowledgeable and seemed to enjoy the children and the history they were teaching.
