Describe the way(s) this program impacts your students learning and how this arts experience correlates with your curriculum: |
This program offered our students an excellent introduction to the People of the Northeast Woodlands. We will refer back to what we leared from it throughout the school year. Students were able to make traditional clay pots, play Native American games, see actual artifacts and traditional tools, explore a mini-longhouse, and simulate Indian government and elections.
