Describe the way(s) this program impacts your students learning and how this arts experience correlates with your curriculum: |
This is a great visual for my students to see actual Indian culture, and to hear the parallels between Iroquois and American government, society, and culture. It is good at this time of year because we have done Native American culture groups and have progressed to seeing how the new US government continues to impact these peoples throught the centuries (having just finished Andrew Jackson, expansion, and Indian Removal).
