Would you recommend this program to other school districts? |
Describe the way(s) this program impacts your students learning and how this arts experience correlates with your curriculum: |
The students were really excited to see so many real butterflies and moths. They found the vocabulary interesting. The students were encouraged to ask questions and the presenter was very knowledgeable about butterflies and moths. This was a great introduction to our new unit of study.
Suggestions to artists for improvements: |
One suggestion for the presenter would be to have the students sit in a horseshoe shape or circle in order to show the materials quicker and more effectively. My class was behind another class and it was sometimes more difficult to see and for the presenter to get around.
