The children love to be involved in the process. I had the class each write a piece and they enjoyed the experience. At this level it helped to have a dedicated topic, such as recycling. The class enjoyed seeing whose pieces were chosen to be performed. I always enjoy this program, as do the students.

In your materials, you may want to attach a page/s for the child to actually write on. It should have all the information you request on the top, lines for the student to write his story, which includes a title line on top and anything else that you deem necessary.
