Arts-In-Education Exploratory Enrichment

Describe the way(s) this program impacts your students learning and how this arts experience correlates with your curriculum:

Our students respond to music in a positive way. Music is incorporated in many lessons to assist with student engagement. Students who have difficulty attending to lessons have better focus when music is incorporated. We are always looking for ways to be culturally diverse and this music program did provide that component. Social skills were also reinforced while in a group setting.

Additional comments:

My students were engaged and happy throughout the performance. Each student enjoyed when the presenter came in close vicinity to them for a more up close look and to feel the vibrations of the instruments. Thank you!
