Describe the way(s) this program impacts your students learning and how this arts experience correlates with your curriculum: |
|
Students read and responded to the book in class and then were able to see it performed live! Many have never been to a play before and they were excited to be in the theater and for the performance. Afterwards, students were able to make comparisons between the book and the play, also adding judgments as to why the changes might have been made. Students learned able how to behave as an audience and how to be engaged appropriately.
