The performance energized our students and deepened their understanding in ways traditional instruction simply can’t match. They were actively engaged—listening, observing, reacting, and connected ideas from the performance to what we’ve been studying. Many students demonstrated stronger critical-thinking skills afterward, especially when discussing themes, emotions, character choices, and artistic techniques. The experience supported a wide range of learners too, giving visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. Overall, it helped them retain information more effectively and encouraged them to make more personal, creative connections to the material.
