This was an amazing opportunity for Sophia to participate in an ensemble with other students from across the county. She was able to spend time in a small all-county rehearsal with the guest artist, Professor Diaz, who she said was amazing. She felt he gave thoughtful insight and I think she will be able to share this with her classmates, especially the 4 other tuba students that were supposed to go, but could not attend last minute.

Suggestions to artists for improvements: |

I felt the event was well organized and provided a variety of sessions to give the students valuable information that can greatly benefit them in the future. The only thing I would suggest is maybe finding ways to split them up more/more work in smaller groups. Hundreds of kids attended and aside from the small all-county group, everyone else was on stage in the auditorium.
