I do like the idea of listening to your heart and intuition. Kids are very naturally intuitive. Information could be incorporated into 6th grade lessons.

Suggestions to artists for improvements: |

The author shared her background and impetus for writing her first picture book, which was appropriate for today's audience. She also shared a portion of the audiobook version, which is advantageous for struggling readers. She created lesson plans (K-6) and journals (K-8) to accompany her book to assist teachers and students in understanding intuition. She would benefit from sharing how she would present to students during a visiting author session.
