Describe the way(s) this program impacts your students learning and how this arts experience correlates with your curriculum: |
JaArtist presented a 4 day, 5 classes/day workshop. Very friendly and professional demeanor. As she gave a history of the Hopi Indians, she inspired the children to create their own masks. She even created a compare and contrast poster for my fourth graders who were studying the Iroquois Indians at the time. She included the kindergarten students and adapted the project so that all students could achieve success. All in all it was an extremely positive experience for my self and my students.
