The live experience gave them a real taste of what it was like for soldiers during the Civil War. The ability to ask questions and get answers from "experts" was great. A

Additional comments:

Background was given about the true history of the rebel flag. Students really appreciated understanding how the flag has been hijacked. Initially some students were concerned.
