Art and nature go hand in hand. Artists are inspired by nature, learn to observe by studying nature and it helps us to see the complexities of the natural world. Ranger Eric presented the animals in a way that completely engaged the students. There a few that I have NEVER seen smile and they were engaged and animated with Eric. He is an incredible, knowledgeable and excellent teacher. His knowledge about each animal was so vast and the kids are still talking about the program. Their artwork was to capture the essence of each creature and they are still working on them.
