Describe the way(s) this program impacts your students learning and how this arts experience correlates with your curriculum:

Students were able to review how people lived in the past compared to now. This correlates with our Social Studies about communities and writing when comparing to form opinions.

Suggestions to artists for improvements:

Because my students are language learners, a few pauses would have been great so that I could translate the information presented for clarity.

Additional comments:

Overall the field trip to the museum was amazing. Previous years, students have gone but to a different program in this museum and it was less engaging. I appreciated the video they saw to reinforce the fire trucks and how fires were put out. Students also enjoyed the hands on activities.
