His presentation supports our curriculum that is aimed at creating lifelong, purposeful and thoughtful readers. The presenter talked about choosing books, connecting to books, how books can help us heal and learn, etc. It was so engaging and matched up to our recent library visits and classroom talks about our independent reading choices.
Suggestions to artists for improvements:
He improves himself on the spot-In between the 2 sessions he make tweaks to his presentation so he didn't repeat some of the books or stories since some of the same staff was attending both sessions yet his message wasn't lost at all. It just gave the staff more great ideas to connect to our students and the students benefited from a fabulous and flawless presentation.
