In our Native Americans and New York Unit, students studied how
Native American groups inhabited New York and interacted with the environment. They studied how these Native American groups developed unique cultures. This program allowed students to experience Native American culture first-hand.
Suggestions to artists for improvements:
This program is great! I had a parent write to me to share how much her daughter enjoyed the presentation.
Time always presents a problem, and I wish more time was afforded for hands-on activities (games and the museum).
