The program coincides with our Native American unit. It was very engaging for the children and helped them better connect past events to today. The hands-on element of the presentation was excellent for helping students make meaningful connections.
Suggestions to artists for improvements:
The background noise of the heat in the gym made it difficult at times to hear the presenter. If an additional sound system/speaker could be utilized that would be very beneficial. The presentation was absolutely fantastic and I would recommend it highly to other schools!
