SCMEA's programming, from All-County events to "Day of" events to other important gatherings, offers our students a real, hands-on approach to working at a high level. These are quality events. The only reason I gave a score of "4" instead of "5" is that the human factor--the different clinicians and conductors--is always something to contend with. The overwhelming majority of special guests are great. But every now and then you get one who isn't.
